User Monitoring

The User Monitoring section of the Monitoring tab is great for finding information on individual users and debugging issues with them.  The sections below will give you a brief overview of some of the functionality and usage of the User Monitoring section.

📄️ Achievements

The Achievements tab lets you see the status of all Achievements for the selected User.

📄️ Attributes

Attributes are tags (key+value pairs) that can be assigned to a user either manually or programmatically. They are primarily (but not exclusively)  used in defining and filtering segments for Promotions.

📄️ Finding a User

The first step is to get to the User section. From the side navigation bar click on the User Browser, followed by the options tabs below.

📄️ Logs

Another feature of the User Monitoring section is the ability to review the logs of an individual user.  The logs contain any recent brainCloud requests and responses by the user. This is very useful for debugging during development.

📄️ One-Way Multiplayer

The One-Way MP tab allows you to view the status of recent one-way multiplayer matches involving the selected User.

📄️ Pricing

The Pricing tab is useful for understanding and debugging a user's view of product pricing, and how it is affected by Promotions. This tab shows what segments a user is currently in, what promotions currently apply to them (both scheduled and automatic), and the resulting prices of all available products.

📄️ Statistics

The statistics tab allows you to view the User's custom stat (created in Statistics Rules) values and edit them.

📄️ Turn-by-Turn Multiplayer

The Turn-By-Turn Multiplayer page allows you to view the status of any turn-based matches that the selected User has participated in.

📄️ User Entities

The user entities tab allows you to view and edit all the selected User's entities.

📄️ User Summary

This tab displays a summary of key information about the selected User. You can even flag users and add notes to make them easier to look up later. We will go through all the features of this page from top to bottom.

📄️ Virtual Currency

The Virtual Currency tab lets you view and potentially edit the user's virtual currency balances.
